Position Description
QCi is seeking a motivated intern to join our Solutions department for a remote summer internship. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects aimed at advancing our portfolio of use case examples for optimization and reservoir devices. This will be a Summer internship, starting May 2025 and ending in August 2025.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing prototype applications under the guidance of the Solutions team.
- Collect data, conduct experiments and analyze results to support ongoing projects.
- Write detailed reports summarizing experimental findings and progress.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the development of optimization and reservoir device use cases.
Required Skills and Experience
- Pursuing Bachelors or Pursuing Masters degree
- Skilled in data retrieval and cleansing
- Proficiency in Python programming, including the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Proficiency in using Python’s numpy package for numerical computing and data manipulation.
- Experience with script packages to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and documentation.
- Interest in data science or operations research
- A portfolio of data visualization examples which convey an aptitude in data analysis
